From 17 until 29 September 2019 the Spa Pool will be closed for renovations. It is possible that some noise and disturbance may occur during the working hours from 10am - 4pm.

Before you go

  • Flights to: the quickest route is via Kuala Lumpur (KUL) and per transfer to the harbour (240 minutes). Another option: via Singapore (SIN) and per fight to Ipoh (IPH) and per car transfer to the harbour (90 minutes).
  • Transfer time from Kuala Lumpur airport in 240 minutes and from Ipoh 90 minutes to the harbour. From the harbour it is a 20-minutes boat journey to Island Pangkor Laut. 
  • Check-in time: 15.00pm / Check-out time: 11am
  • Late check-out: When available, the surcharge for late checkout is 50% of the roomrate and until 6pm. 
  • Tourist tax (serivcecosts) of 6% needs to be paid on site
  • Surcharge on public holidays: Top up charge for the Gala Dinners on 24, 25 and 31 Dec 2018 MYR 250 per person per meal. (Not compulsory to attend). 
  • Swimwear is obligatory in the swimming pool. Swimwear is not permitted in the sauna for hygienic reasons. 
  • There is a heated outdoor pool 
  • Internet: Free WIFI is available in the comunal areas, however an extra surcharge applies for usage in the rooms. Bathrobe, bathtowels and bathslippers are available in the room.

There is free Wi-Fi at the reception, lobby and in the library. For Internet in your room, there is a surcharge.

Passport and Visa
Ensure your passport is valid for 6 months after your departure date. If your passport is not fully valid your airline may not allow you to board and the immigration authority will not permit you to land in Malaysia. Many visitors don't need a visa to visit Malaysia and are exempt when visiting for holidays or social purposes, however it is really important to check before traveling.
There are no longer arrival cards to complete. The immigration officer will issue a permit to stay depending on your passport / nationality after taking your fingerprint.
Please check the terms and conditions that may apply for you regarding your passport and visa requirements when travelling to Malaysia so please contact your nearest visa office.
Also, make some copies of your important travel documents and/or save them in a secure online site.

Health Information for Travellers
Vaccinations for Maylasia are not obligatory but vaccinations for DTP and Hepatitis A are recommended. For more information, please consult your GP (doctor) or a health travel clinic at least six weeks before you go.
